The day was part funded through the "Recreate" partnership between Landcare Australia and Spicers Paper. The group first visited "Dungrove" in Tasmania's central highlands where Dr Neil Davidson provided details on the biodiverse carbon plantation site established a year earlier. They then planted approximately 500 native trees, shrubs and grasses at "Grassy Hutt", near Bothwell, contributing to a 130 year biodiverse carbon revegetation experimental project. The day was educational and fun, where everyone enjoyed getting their hands dirty and doing hard physical work....
